Peripheries can seem solid and impenetrable, but the more you observe them, the more obvious their porousness.

In 2021, while working on Project FIELD, I considered the porous boundaries at the edges of human and nonhuman organisms, and how technologies can be mediators between bodies. As this work continued, I thought it worth exploring how those technologies as mediators are also organic, living forms, created from both love and violence. This project came from that thought.

This multi-year project features web and physical installations, photographs, research and writing.
